Mrs. Lillian F. B. Watkins.

Mrs. Lillian F. B. Watkins, 82, of 603 JFK Court, Suffolk, peacefully departed this earthly life on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at her home. She was a native of Hertford, North Carolina and the daughter of the late Cora and Charlie Felton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Watkins, Sr., a daughter, JoAnn Almond and a son, Isaac Watkins.Mrs. Watkins was educated in the public schools of Suffolk and was a dedicated homemaker. She was a member of East End Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Regina Hall (Joe) of Suffolk, Sarah Watkins of Portsmouth, Linda Rouse (Roy) of Georgia, Brenda Randall (Anthony) of Suffolk, her sons Walter Watkins, Jr. (Lorraine) of New Jersey, Randolph Watkins (Francis) of New Jersey, and Joseph Watkins (Gwendolyn) of Georgia; twenty-five grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and many other devoted relatives and friends. A funeral of triumph will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 1 p.m. at East End Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. Mark Croston. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 p.m til 7 p.m . Harris Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
