Sharon Rene’ Blanchard McCray

Sharon Rene’ Blanchard McCray was born April 5, 1955, in Nansemond County, VA, was the oldest of eight siblings, departed this earthly life on October 27, 2011. She was born to the late Arthur G. Parker, Sr. and Juanita (Mickey) Lewis. Preceded John Henry and Lue Murt Blanchard.

She will always be remember by her daughter LaKeisha Renee’ McCray, two grandchildren Antonio Ramon McCray and Alecia Rene’ McCray of Woodbridge, VA, two sisters, Lou Denee Lewis (Suffolk, VA) & Belinda Ervin (Garland, TX), six brothers, Gilmer C. Parker (Portsmouth, VA), Keith A. Blanchard (Rosemary) (Suffolk, VA) Terry Parker (Garland, TX), David Parker (Felicia) (Desoto, TX), Gregory Parker (Deshawn)(Duncanville, TX) and Arthur Parker, Jr.(Vi) (Plano, TX), four aunts, (devoted) Elder Rose M. Cooper (Willie)(Suffolk, VA), Hazel T. Wright (Portsmouth, VA), Marie Bagley (Richmond, VA) Clara (Teen) Parker (Portsmouth, VA), step-mother Glennis Parker (Dallas, TX), three uncles, James McCoy Blanchard (Barbara Jean)(Suffolk, VA), Johnnie Turner (Woodbridge, VA), Purnell Turner (Hattie) (Fairfax, VA), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends.

Sharon fought a long battle of colon cancer. She went to join the Lord on October 27, 2011 peacefully in her sleep. She was a loving and caring person. She lived for her daughter & two grandkids. She will always be remembered and loved by all.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 12 noon at the Tabernacle Christian Church, Bishop Carlton R. Upton, Sr. Officiating .
