Mary Josephine Holland Goode 93 of 123 Mahan Street went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2016. She was born to Patrick and Josephine Holland. She is predeceased by her parents, a sister Virginia Peace, a brother Joseph Holland, her husband Ernest R. Goode, Sr., and her daughter Sandra E. Brown. She leaves to mourn, her daughters LaVerne Nicholson and Angela V. Goode of Suffolk, a son Ernest R. Goode, Jr. (Linda) of Mesquite, Texas, four grandchildren, two Great-grand daughters and a host of loving relatives and friends. A Home Going service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, December 10th at East End Baptist Church, Suffolk with Dr. Wayne D. Faison officiating. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
